About Us

New Way Travel began in 1997, started by two people who had each fallen for Thailand — its culture, its pace, its warmth — and decided to build a business that could share that beauty with others.

Within a few years, New Way had grown into one of the top three inbound operators for Hong Kong travelers to Thailand — a foundation that would later carry us into new markets, from mainland China to Europe, and into corporate and wellness travel as well. What started between two people has grown, over nearly three decades, into a team that has welcomed more than 10,000 travelers and delivered events for groups as large as 1,000 people.

We've stood through a financial crisis, a pandemic, and everything in between — not because travel is easy, but because we've never stopped caring about doing it well.

Why we do this

Travel, at its best, is an act of care. It offers comfort where there was routine, discovery where there was familiarity, and a rare kind of rest that ordinary life rarely allows. We've never seen our work as a transaction — it's a craft, built on curiosity and a belief that the right journey can change how someone sees the world.

Before an itinerary reaches a client, our team has walked the paths, tasted the food, and felt the atmosphere for ourselves. Recommending an experience we haven't lived would fall short of what we promise.

We're a close, hands-on team — small enough that no trip or event passes through nameless hands, and experienced enough to have run this business through nearly three decades of change.
